On judging Varga's work, Noble commented "This photograph was made by someone who clearly loves the medium of photography. I was impressed by its simplicity, beauty and its evocation of experiences that exist beyond the frame of the image. Justine Varga brings a contemporary conceptual rigour to a complex observational project.
