Martin Smith is one of 11 artists exhibiting in this group show, exploring family relationships and dynamics. Including works by Tracey Moffatt, Tamara Dean and Bindi Cole, Inheritance offers intimate insights into the way our families inform who we are and our place in the world. Smith's approach is highly personal, mining his own collection of past photographs before painstakingly cutting into them, letter by letter, with disconnected stories from his childhood.
