Ferran's video work CANAL looks at the Bowback Rivers in East London. This is
the area destined to become the principal site of the 2012 Olympics and the
focus of a major urban redevelopment. Ferran has been exploring this area
since 2005, 'What strikes me now is how quickly that recent past has receded
and how startlingly unfamiliar, almost dreamlike, the place has become'.
