Glenn Sloggett and Helen Pynor have been selected as joint winners of the Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award. Sloggett's winning work is titled The Bride. Judge Trent Parke said about the work '...it infuses a sense of melancholy, sadness and mystery. It is an image that creeps up on you, and I continually find myself wanting to go back and actually touch it.'

One of three highly acclaimed Australian photographers presenting work in this exhibition, Trent Parke encounters the urban scape of the Gold Coast with his signature aesthetic of harsh light and dramatic colour. This show marks the addition of multiple new works to the series Coming Soon that Parke began shooting in 2005.
