Campbelltown Arts Centre
cnr Camden & Appin Road

At various times in history political and social forces have led to the

One of these periods was the Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen's political reign, aka
the "Sunshine State" of the 80's in Queensland. This period cultivated some of
the states most creative talents, such as William Yang, who is now taking part
in Sunshine State.
Yang not only takes part in the exhibition Campbelltown Arts Centre has also
commissioned a work by Yang called Four Places in Queensland. The piece is a
reworking of some of Yang's Queensland stories as well as new stories. Yan
