To end the year, Stills Gallery is presenting a group show featuring selected gallery artists. It will include a combination of recent and early works. Most have not been exhibited at the gallery before.

Included will be new works by Petrina Hicks created during the Polaroid Circus Project initiated at Albury Regional Gallery. Polaroid Australia brought their specialist camera from America to Australia with the aim of developing a body of work celebrating the creativity and dynamics of young artists from the famous children's circus based in Albury-Wodonga.

There will be a series of black and white photographs by Trent Parke including images previously seen on lightboxes in the 2004 Sydney Festival. This is the first time these works have been exhibited at Stills.

Narelle Autio's latest photographic works push the expressive capabilities of photography. The figures in her underwater tableaux, ordinary people enjoying a swim at the beach, appear staged for dramatic effect. The play of colour and light in the photographs gives them a magical, painterly quality.

A selection of works from Pat Brassington's Sweet Thereafter created in 2006 are included along with revisited works by Christine Cornish from Threshold.

Stills Gallery now represents Cherine Fahd, whose first solo exhibition is scheduled for March 2007. Fahd will be exhibiting works from two of her series, Idea of the Sphere and A Woman Runs, as well as early works not previously exhibited.

Rebecca Ann Hobbs, a newcomer to Stills Gallery will be exhibiting recent works. Anne Ferran features with an exquisite large scale photogram of a wedding dress, also unseen before at Stills.
